Martha continues to do really well! Her therapists are having her use her walker less, and she is getting out of the house just about every day and walking (with a therapist who is with her but no longer providing assistance). Sadly that means that soon she will no longer qualify for the home occupational and physical therapy, and the visiting nurses are preparing her for a similar reduction. Martha even went to a Presbytery committee meeting today, and was able to stay for the whole thing. She still often seems a bit weak, but overall she has done remarkably well.

Here at our house, Amanda is doing well with her medicines, and she is also getting out and walking (away from the house) every day. We are both on a health program where we monitor our steps every day, and because she spends hours a day doing light exercise, yoga, and breathing treatments to reduce her adrenaline, she gets many thousands of steps more than I do. She's also continuing to do acupuncture, and today the acupuncturist was very surprised how much her condition has changed for the better since even last week. (He said to her "you are hungry all the time now, aren't you?" and she agreed. He told her she is building Qi and that makes her hungry. She had been losing weight since January and now she is beginning to gain it back.)

SO it has been a good week all around. Thanks to everyone for the prayers!
